Policy, Rights, Identification, and Indemnification

Changes of Policy
Northwest.com, Inc. reserves the right to change, amend, or eliminate advertising policies without advance notice.  Submitting an advertisement for publication or distribution on Northwest.com represents the advertiser’s agreement to abide by the policies of Northwest.com, Inc.

Identification and Indemnification
Advertisers who purchase advertising space from Northwest.com, Inc., must have either their company’s registered URL or name in one the ad’s frames or text.  Under no circumstances will Northwest.com, Inc. accept advertising that does not identify the company.  The advertiser agrees that it is responsible to third parties for the content of the advertising placed.  In the event that Northwest.com, Inc. becomes liable to any third party as a result of an advertisement, the advertiser agrees to indemnify any or all of them for damages owed to the third party and for the fees and costs associated with such disputes, claims, litigation, or settlement.

Publisher’s Rights
All advertising is subject to approval from Northwest.com, Inc. regarding, but limited to, subject matter, content, form size, wording, graphics, illustrations, animation, and typography.  As publisher, Northwest.com, Inc. reserves the right to accept, reject, edit, revise, or cancel any advertisement at its discretion, at any time before or after placement, that is deemed competitive or contrary to the best interests of the company.  Northwest.com, Inc. will not knowingly accept advertising for a book, motion picture, or product involved in pending litigation.

Spyware

Northwest.com, Inc. strictly prohibits the delivery of Spyware onto its Northwest.com website.  Spyware can be partially defined as being a software-based trigger or program that monitors a computer’s usage, sends information about a computer’s usage to a remote computer or server displays, or causes an advertisement to be displayed in response to the computer’s usage without the knowledge or approval of the user.  If an advertiser or third party agency serves such an ad on to the site, then such advertiser / third party will be liable to legal and punitive action from Northwest.com, Inc., as well as any legal and punitive action from the consumer or third party.
